The Graduation Ceremony of JuniorGeeks 2

Junior Geeks is an educational and engaging flagship program designed to inspire and guide young Kosovars in developing their skills in STEAM: Science, Technology, Entrepreneurship, Art, and Mathematics.

The mission is to give teenagers the opportunity to discuss, research, and learn firsthand about STEM topics in a stimulating and creative environment, while inspiring a love for science.

I gave a short motivational talk at the graduation ceremony, which felt good. Seeing so many young, hardworking students gives me genuine hope that Kosovo will be an important tech hub for Europe.

Great work to the organizers: Eldita Tarani, Shpend Lila, Zana Tabaku, the Innovation Centre Kosovo, KUSA, and the U.S. Embassy Pristina Kosovo.

The energy in that room reminded me why programs like this matter so much. The technical skills are important, but what Junior Geeks really builds is confidence, the belief that you can build something, that you belong in these rooms, that the future is something you participate in rather than something that happens to you.

That is the real output.
